Grade 4 I2

 The students took the unit test today. Scores were written in each student's communication book; the tests will be returned next week after we have a chance to go over them in class.  There is no homework this weekend.

 Today we finished the story and reviewed for the test tomorrow. Tonight's homework is to do the two review worksheets and study for the test tomorrow. The test will cover the vocabulary words from week 1 and week 2, the spelling words, and knowledge of the story. We summarized the story while reading it.  Today we started on this week's vocabulary, as well as continuing with the story. The vocabulary for I2 this week starts with word 7, Florida. Words 1-6 will not be tested in I2.  Today we worked in the Reader's and Writer's Notebooks, covering the spelling words and discussing different types of sentences. Tonight's homework is to finish pages 43 and 44 in the RWN if they weren't finished in class.

This semester, the students will have to know how to use the words in a sentence.
